480p, 720p or 1080p: which resolution should you generate?

Resolution is the biggest lever on how many credits a clip costs. Here is how to draft cheaply and still publish in full quality.

Every AI video you generate is priced in credits, and resolution is one of the two things that decide the price, the other being duration. Higher resolution costs more, so the cheapest way to work is to separate drafting from finishing.

Draft at 480p. At this size you can judge the things that matter while you are still iterating: whether the subject is right, whether the action reads, whether the camera move feels natural and whether the light matches your idea. You do not need pixels to answer those questions.

Check at 720p when a draft is close. It shows more detail for faces, fabric and text-like shapes, and is often good enough for small-screen social posts where the video plays inside a phone.

Finish at 1080p. Use it for anything that will be seen large: website hero sections, presentations, ads and edited videos exported at full HD. Paid plans include native 1080p output and no watermark.

A practical rule: if you would be embarrassed by a soft frame on a large display, finish at 1080p; if the clip is a quick test or a thumbnail-sized loop, stay lower. Keep the same prompt between drafts and the final render so the result matches what you approved.

The exact credit cost for each resolution and duration is listed on the pricing page and shown in the generator before you confirm each render.
