AI video for small business marketing: ideas, workflow and cost
How small teams use AI video for product teasers, ads, social posts and landing pages without a studio, and how to plan the cost.

Video used to be the marketing format small businesses skipped because a shoot meant crews, locations and a week of editing. AI video changes the economics: a short clip is now a few minutes and a small number of credits.
Five uses are worth starting with. First, product teasers: a clean rotating or in-context shot of the product for a listing or ad. Second, social posts: short, hook-first clips for the channels your customers use. Third, landing page backgrounds: a looping, on-brand visual behind your headline. Fourth, explainer cutaways: B-roll that illustrates a point in a voiceover. Fifth, event and launch announcements.
A simple workflow keeps quality high. Write the message first, in one sentence. Break it into two to four shots. Write one prompt per shot using the subject, action, setting, light, lens and movement structure. Generate each at a lower resolution to check the idea, then re-run the winners at full quality and cut them together in any editor.
Keep your brand consistent by reusing wording. Put the colours, mood and light style that define your brand into every prompt, such as 'warm natural light, muted earth tones, clean minimal background', so clips made weeks apart still look like one campaign.
Plan the cost in credits, not guesswork. Each video's price depends on resolution and duration and is shown before you confirm. Draft at low resolution, finalise at high resolution, and you spend most of your credits only on shots you will actually publish. The pricing page lists the current credit costs and plans.
Check the details before publishing: watch the clip for artefacts, avoid depicting real people without permission, and add any exact text or logos in your editor rather than expecting the generator to draw them. Read our content policy for what is allowed.
